What is a perlino? A perlino is kinda like two buckskins, when you mix together and you get both cream, both black and both agouti(black mane and tail) it creates a "double dilute" whos resulting offspring will be either buckskin or palomino. The difference between a cremello(which I also have at stud) and a perlino, is that a perlino can produce a buckskin from a red horse, whereas a cremello bred to red has no agouti and will always have palominos.... (read more) So breeding a red, bay or black horse to Spinny, you will get a buckskin or palomino every time. Your odds go up on having a buckskin if you breed a bay mare. ...I raised "Spinny" and had his sire, and his dam. He is the product of several planned generations. He is a beautiful mover, he is soft and correct and flows effortlessly across the ground. He has a nice sweeping stride but can also tighten up and maneuver easily around cows, fences and for performance events. Started as a reiner, hes mainly just a pet right now! his first foals will be two in 2019. The test crop proved successful with Spinny able to produce short backed(not like him, either, but that is what I planned for!) strong hipped foals with the neck and heads to turn any eye. soundness for about any event and the mindset to be able to easily acclimate. we look forward to seeing what he does going forward, and he stands live cover at Double Creek Farm next to Little Lucky Streke (homozgyous APHA tobiano) Stats First Goodbar (cremello AQHA) and Kolored by Krymsun (AQHA/APHA sorrel overo) you can visit the site to see horses for sale at visit our website
