RGR Boondock Saint, aka Boone, is our newest Gypsy Vanner herd sire. Boone is 6 years old and joined our herd early in 2021. We were excited to add a horse from the RunGypsyRun breeding program and his beautiful buckskin coloration is simply the icing on the cake of a well bred, well built Gypsy Vanner stallion. Before coming to us, Boone bred many mares for his breeder in Michigan as well as spending some time in Oklahoma for breeding and also to be started under saddle.... Boone is GHVS registered and is a direct son of the stallion Shameless, one of my first loves when I was learning about the breed. On his dam's side, he carries another RGR staple stallion, Scout. Boone stands 14.0 hands and is tested PSSM and FIS free. His color genetics are EE, Aa, nCr, with no other dilutions detected.
