Ilios, 2012 (Hanoverian) AWSSR / Westfalen NA recorded Stallion, standing at stud. 16.2 hand, dark bay/brown, correct confirmation, athletic, beautiful mover with 3 flawless gaits, quiet temperament, beautiful typey uphill build with cresty neck, gorgeous head and kind eyes. Ilios is so mild mannered that he’s handled by kids and loved by everyone who meets him. He was bred and Raised by the Schmitt Family of Thanks A lot farm in Augusta WV, who took the time to train him right from day one. He improves on any mare, attaches just enough of a mares good characteristics blended with his amazing attributes. Any and all of his offspring are eligible to be inspected and registered with the American Warmblood and Sporthorse association, even grade mares with no registration papers or traceable pedigree. Offspring with TB, Arab or WB mares are eligible for inspection/registration and branding with Westfalen North America. Ilios was inspected recorded with Westfalen in fall of 2021 with great scores and high remarks on his top line, masculinity, movement, athleticism, quiet disposition and fantastic brain. Unfortunately he was injured at a young age and therefor does not have a show record but has proven himself with the show records and high inspection scores of his offspring, so it hasn’t effected his career as a stud at all. He is considered Hanoverian by breed but couldn’t complete his stallion test with AHA due to his injury and soundness issues. He is an all around amazing horse, gentleman breeder and was the top producing Warmblood stallion in WV and VA in 2021 with a crop of 44 foals! He has numerous repeat customers.
