Blue Dreamin Catadude is a proven NASPR Premium Premier stallion who has already made a name for himself as a foal, showing in hand in the FEH, under saddle as an eventer, and as an exceptional sire and now grandsire!! There are not many great sires, but Catadude is definitely one of the greats and he commands attention wherever he goes! As a foal he was already started for greatness receiving an overall score of 10 at his NASPR foal inspection. Catadude then went on to show in the USEA FEH as a yearling, 2yr old, and three year old.... (read more) This 14.1 hand stallion took multiple championships receiving the second highest score in the Nation at a USEA FEH show in 2014 with a score of 84.35, and another score of 82! There is no doubt he can compete and WIN against the horses! He received several scores in the 80's in 2015 as a 3 yr old and did well at the West Coast Championships. Catadude is very easy to train and wonderful under saddle. At three day events against multiple horses he has won multiple times, finishing clean in his jumping and receiving great dressage scores of 29, marking a couple 9's in his test! He impresses people wherever he goes and with his athletic ability and perfect conformation he can easily cross into any arena from eventing and dressage to the hunter/jumper ring. He has exceptional jumping ability, form, and desire to jump. His scope over fences is appreciated by all riders and breeders. He stamps his foals with these same traits.

A true great stallion can also produce and Catadude has proved he can do just that through his talented offspring! His granddaughter, Nevadas Ember BDF, had the highest qualifying score in the nation in 2023 at a USEA FEH competition with a score of 88.4!! This three year old exemplifies everything we have bred for. We bred her sire and dam and could not be more proud of her! In 2021, Charmander BDF, a grandson of Catadude WON the yearling USEA FEH West Coast Championships! ALL of his foals received Premium Premier status with the NASPR! One filly, Blue Dreamin Phoenix, in 2016 took it a step further and was the highest scored NASPR and AWR foal in the Nation, including Canada, with a 9.8!!! Another colt, Blue Dreamin CMeFly, was close to that with a 9.3!! This same colt went on to WIN the USEA FEH yearling West Coast Championships held at beautiful Twin Rivers Ranch! These babies are NICE and have the conformation any person would look for in a jumper or dressage mount. They are kind with lovely movement and good bone size! They also inherit their father's good looks and have the cutest heads and eyes around. Catadude will cross well with pony mares as well as compliment larger mares. Champion Bloodlines
Dude was bred to be a champion and his bloodlines bring to the table longevity that ponies are known for as well as the soundness riders need in todays strenuous sport. Dude is perfectly balanced and in proportion to his size. His breeding includes British Riding Pony on the top and Welsh on the bottom.

Dude's sire, Rosedale Top Cat, is the first NASPR foundation sire and has proven himself over and over by producing multiple champions! His Bloodlines can be traced back to the top thoroughbreds and Arabian lines. Rosedale Top Cat was imported from Wales and is a licensed British Riding Pony and a NASPR First Premium stallion. He won the 2006 Sportpony Star Search Challenge and has produced wonderful offspring.

Dude's Dam, Moelgarnedd Hamdden, a registered Welsh, was also imported from Wales and has numerous Welsh champions in her lines. She is a multiple supreme champion and qualified for Champions of Champions.

Blue Dreamin' Farms is located in Ahwahnee CA nestled in the mountains at the lower entrance to Yosemite. We offer a select number of full boarding and training equine services. Blue Dreamin' Farms is your premier place to board in this wonderful mountain area. We offer individual small pasture boarding as well as have limited stall boarding. Our owner and trainer Megan Barnes has a degree in Equine Science and over 25 years in the equine industry training, breeding, giving lessons, selling, starting colts and caring for horses at the highest level in both English and Western rein/cow horses.... Megan can help with training in just about every discipline. She specializes in starting colts as well as rein/cow horse and eventing and dressage. A well-rounded trainer makes a well-schooled horse! She is very passionate about horses and helping people learn how to train, not just how to ride. Blue Dreamin' Farms is a no drama place to board where we offer beautiful facilities that include: a 120' x 210' main Priefert fenced arena complete with sprinklers to knock the summer dust down, full set of jumps to use complete with all fillers, a lovely short court dressage arena with sprinklers and letters for practicing tests, a 60' round pen, a CowTrac mechanical cow for cutting training, seasonal cattle to practice with, trails around the 40 acre farm, small orchard, wash area, tack rooms, sitting areas, and soon to be a 60' x 100' COVERED ARENA to be completed by the end of 2025! We have a very relaxed atmosphere, and a family feel around the farm where we also raise Nigerian dwarf goats.
