PASTURE BREEDING ONLY This is not due to Chepe being bad to handle, he just will not touch a mare if i have ahold of her or him. Also, if your mare has not been around donkeys she may not be willing to take to one without hand breeding.
Chepe is a sweetheart of a donkey that I can throw my daughter on just wandering around the yard and he takes care of her. We also have packed him. He's built solid and don't let the shortness fool you, he's only 1 inch below minimum height to be mammoth.
